For over 40 years, Zeager Landscape Designs & Nursery has been built on family, hard work, and a commitment to serving our clients well. What began as a small business started by a father has grown into a company that continues to be shaped by the next generation.

Father & Son

In 1984, Ken Zeager Sr. started Zeager Landscape Designs & Nursery, building the business from the ground up through hard work, craftsmanship, and a commitment to his clients.

His only son, Kenny, grew up watching that work firsthand. As a boy, he would occasionally join his father for client meetings, gaining an early understanding of the business and developing a growing interest in the work his father had built.

Customers would often ask Kenny, “Are you going to take over your father’s business someday?” His answer was always an enthusiastic, “Yes!”

That dream began to take shape in 2009, when Kenny joined his father as a Landscape Technician. Over the years, he grew into roles as a Landscape Foreman and Manager, developing his knowledge, experience, and vision for the future of the company. In early 2021, Kenny purchased the business from his father and began leading Zeager into its next chapter.

For our family, Zeager Landscaping is more than a business. It is part of our everyday life, our story, and the legacy we hope to create together. Today, Kenny has the opportunity to carry the family business forward while creating something meaningful alongside his own family.

We love watching our daughter grow up around the business and already enjoy being outside with her dad. In many ways, it brings Kenny’s story full circle. He once followed his father to client meetings, and now his own daughter gets to experience pieces of the business alongside him. With another daughter joining our family this fall, we look forward to seeing our family and Zeager continue to grow together.

Our faith in Jesus Christ is at the center of our family and the way we want to live. We believe this business is something we have been entrusted with, and we want to steward it well by working with integrity, humility, and excellence while serving, caring for, and loving the people in our community.

As we look toward the future, we are grateful for the opportunity to lead Zeager Landscaping together as husband and wife.
